Answer: Husker Grill Cleaning recommends getting your grill professionally cleaned at least twice a year: once at the end of the season so that accumulated material does not rust grill all winter, and at least once during the season after regular use

Answer: Husker Grill Cleaning services all types of grills, including gas, charcoal, pellet, and electric grills, as well as smokers.

3. How long does a typical grill cleaning service take?

Answer: when a grill has not been regularly cleaned, the first deep cleaning typically takes 2-3 hours for a standard pedestal grill, 3-4 hours for a built-in grill or grill over 36”, and up to 5-8 hours for a large commercial bbq rig

4. Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?

Answer: No, we will send you photos of any concerns to grill hardware and do not make repairs without prior approval

5. What cleaning products do you use? Are they safe for my grill?

Answer: Husker Grill Cleaning uses only eco-friendly, organic cleaners that are safe for your grill and the environment.

6. Will your cleaning process affect the flavor of food cooked on my grill?

Answer: grill grates most commonly come in either stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum or steel coated in high-temp porcelain enamel. Our cleaning process will remove the fats and grease that coat the grates from cooking, as these will putrefy over time. Our techs will re-season the grill with stable vegetable-oil based seasoning to prevent rust and re-season the grill

Answer: The basic grill cleaning service for pedestal or built-in grills up to 30" starts at $159 foor one-time cleaning, with steep discounts for more frequent cleaning plans

11. Can you repair or replace parts of my grill during the cleaning service?

Answer: Yes, but our policy is never to initiate a repair without your approval, unless we can do so as a free service (

Answer: Just make sure the gate can be unlocked. No need to uncover your grill. A nearby outlet is helpful, but we have generators if the grill is not located close to a usable power source.
